Journey and Steve Miller Band perform live at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre this May.
The legendary rock band Journey are on tour and grace the stage at Walnut Creek Amphitheater to kick start the summer! Originating from San Francisco and forming in 1973, Journey hit the peak of their popularity and commercial success between 1978 and 1987, with hits such as “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Open Arms”.
The band has had many different band members and it’s current incarnation consists of Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo and lead singer Arnel Pineda. The band’s latest album, entitled Eclipse, was released in 2011 and reached no.13 on the Billboard 200, selling 21,400 copies in it’s debut week in the United States. It is the second album with Arnel Pineda, the first being 2008’s Revelation.
The Steve Miller Band accompany Journey for this fantastic live event. Another San Francisco based band, Steve Miller Band were formed way back in 1967 and have released 18 studio albums since then.
