5 Seconds of Summer can now be heard on radio stations all across the globe. Featuring Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin, the group went from YouTube sensation to one of the hottest bands on the planet. The “Rock Out With Your Socks Our Tour” was recently announced and has been such a hit that due to demand, more shows are already being added to the lineup.
The band’s fan hit new heights when One Direction invited the group to go on tour with them and in February 2014, the band’s debut release rose to the top of the charts. A self-titled debut was released in the beginning of the 2014 summer season.
The band happily announced their 2015 tour and expects the tour to be a major success. Currently, the tour is set to run from May through September 2015 with the band playing in the following countries:
The band will first be playing in Lisbon, Portugal on May 4th, and the tour will come to a close in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida on September 13th. In total, there will be 74 shows played during the tour, and 5 Seconds of Summer will be playing the following:
The band has not currently listed any opening acts just yet, but it is safe to say that there will be at least one opening act that will accompany the band on stage.
The band currently has not released a suspected playlist. While this would normally be a concern, the band is still new, and we can assume that all of the songs will be off of their debut album. Currently, 5 Seconds of Summer is touring with One Direction and the census is that this band is hot.
The current playlist that is seen while on the “Where We Are Tour” is as follows:
The band has also been known to cover Katy Perry’s song, “Teenage Dream” extremely well. What will the 2015 tour hold? No one knows just yet, but if the past is any indication, this will be one of the hottest tours of 2015.
