OneRepublic & The Script: Native Summer Tour
OneRepublic announced their Native Summer Tour in December and first kicked off their show in the City of Morrison on May 28th. Featuring opening act The Script, the band has included two legs of the tour. The first leg will come to a close in Tulsa on August 28th and the second leg will begin in October in Dublin, Ireland.
With packed areas, fans will be able to hear Danny O’Donoghue of The Script interact with fans and of course, the groups hit song “Hall of Fame” will be sung. Anyone unfamiliar with the band will be pleasantly surprised from the moment these Ireland rockers hit the stage. Nominated as one of the best international groups in the world at the Brit Awards, The Script will wow you during their entire set.
The night starts off with American Authors hitting the stage as the opening act. “Best Day of My Life” will definitely get the crowd pumping, and the band truly gets the crowd involved during the entire set. Following American Authors will be The Script, who are known for being very friendly with fans and even jumping into the crowd.
Once The Script finishes, OneRepublic hits the stage like never before. “Love Runs Out” will become an instant crowd favorite and is the band’s newest single. During many of the shows, fans will be taken back as the band will perform an acoustic session for the audience.
OneRepublic will sing a wide array of songs including “Stop and Stare,” “Love Runs Out” and “All the Right Moves” among many others. The band was the first commercial success coming from social media and released their debut album in 2007. Their latest album, “Native”, was released in 2013 and has sold over 600,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
The Script will perform many greats that you may have never heard before including “Breakeven” and “We Cry.” These Ireland natives really know how to put on a show and oftentimes, they are very interactive with the crowd and will make you feel right at home.
