Introducing the James Taylor Tour
James Taylor has been forever memorialized within the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is one of the last great acts that you must see. With nearly 50 years of being in the musical spotlight, the iconic Taylor is back on the road like never before.
Dubbed the James Taylor tour, this tour visits 34 cities, 24 states and will include 40 shows. The tour will also be making a stop in Toronto. Lasting 4 months, the tour first started on the 30th of May and will last until August before Taylor heads through Europe.
The tour is a real treat and will allow fans to hear all of the old and new songs from the master himself. The classic “You’ve Got a Friend” may be heard at select locations and you may even hear a few songs that may be introduced in his upcoming album. All of the fan favorites, such as “Mexico” and “Fire and Rain” will be heard.
The tour is a realization that the legendary James Taylor is an ordinary man that was able to take the world by storm through his unique talents. Many fans have described it as feeling like they are right in the living room of Taylor as he interacts and appreciates the crowd as only a true legend could. One of the favorite points of his tour is that he will often explain the meanings of such great songs, such as “Carolina” and will even explain why he wrote some of his most famous songs.
The set usually lasts around 3 full hours and even going into his 60s, fans are saying that this is the best concert they have ever been to.
If you are one that loves to see encores, James has been known to come back on stage 3 times to satisfy the roar of the crowd.
