Chicago & REO Speedwagon the 2014 Tour
Two iconic bands collaborate for a tour of a lifetime. While only including 15 dates that start on August 2nd in Phoenix and end in Dallas, Texas on August 31st, fans of Chicago and REO Speedwagon simply cannot miss this show.
Both rose to fame in the 80s and 90s, but these two Illinois bands never toured together before. Sharing the same label during the 70s, fans will be thrilled to find out that both bands will play their greatest hits for everyone to hear.
Chicago will play a set of songs that are sure to include fan favorites, such as the newest songs off of their new album being released on July 4th including “America” and “Crazy Happy.” The classics will also be belted out like never before including “Make Me Smile” and “Wishing You Were Here.”
REO Speedwagon is known for their immense success during the 1980s and will not disappoint. You will be able to hear all of the greatest hits, such as “Can’t Fight This Feeling” and “Life as We Know It.” The crowd will surely hear classics dating back from the first album the band released in 1971 and even newer songs from the band’s latest album released in 2007.
Both bands, while famous over 3 decades ago, have not lost a step and routinely tour. Those that have been dying to see both bands perform on stage will be happy to know that they will be performing together during the encore as well as during the finale. Will they perform one of the greats together? Time will tell.
While being kept under close wraps, the finale has been touted as being the thrill that the band’s audience has always wanted to see. When the first show opens up in August, Chicago and REO Speedwagon will be making headlines all across the country.
